High quality 316L surgical stainless steel smooth segment ring with a gauge of 0.8mm. The hinge on this ring makes it easier to fit than standard segment rings (with fully removable segments) because you won't drop the segment. This ring features a hinge on one side of the segment and a tiny stem on the opposite side. When the segment is opened, the ring can be inserted into the piercing. To open the segment, gently pull the two ends of the ring apart and the segment will drop down to one side. To replace the segment, gently pull the two ends of the ring apart, position the small stem into the hole (both on the opposite side of the ring to the hinge) and then release your hold. The two ends of the ring will squeeze together to hold the segment in place. This hinged segment ring is available in a choice of internal diameter sizes between 5mm and 10mm.

Little fiddly to close being so thin, but look fantastic once they were in.

Great product. I've struggled in the past to put jewellery in my tragus without the help of a piercer, but this hinged segment rings went in with no trouble. It is very comfortable and feels like high quality stainless steel. Will definitely be purchasing again as an alternative to BCRs. My only comment would be I wish there were some smaller diameter available (my tragus piercing is small gauge and 8mm is a bit big in length).

Best ring I've tried, fitted perfectly to the nose. Secure. Easier to insert than most rings as it can be inserted from the outside; closing the segment can be rather fiddly but that isn't a fault of the product.
