High quality 316L surgical stainless steel ball closure ring (BCR) finished in PVD black, featuring an opal effect acrylic clip-in ball. The ring has a gauge of 1.2mm and is offered in a choice of internal diameter sizes between 6mm and 12mm. The ball features two small indentations which enable it to be held in place by way of a tension grip. To remove the ball, pull the two ends of the ring apart and the ball will drop out (ring opening pliers may be required). To replace the ball, pull the two ends of the ring apart, position the two dents on either side of the ball onto the ring ends and then release your hold on the ring. The two ends of the ring will squeeze together to hold the ball in place. This type of ring is also known as a captive bead ring.
