High quality 316L surgical stainless steel ball closure ring (BCR) with a gauge of 5mm. This type of ring is really easy to fit - simply unscrew the ball from one of the ends of the ring. Next, insert the ring through your piercing and then screw the ball back into the hole to finish. This steel ball closure ring (also known as a captive bead ring) is available in a choice of internal diameter sizes between 12mm and 22mm. The screw-in ball has a diameter of either 8mm or 10mm, depending on the ring diameter.

I have used 9mm gauge screw-in ball BCR for years from Ouch. This time I bought 3 x 5mm screw-in ball BCR to replace 1 x 9 mm gauge in my PA piercing as an experiment. These three stainless fings, worn together, are more comfortable than the single titanium ring, so I am very pleased.
