High quality 316L surgical stainless steel ball closure ring (BCR) with a gauge of 7mm. This BCR is easier to fit/remove than a standard ball closure ring, thanks to a pair of spring-loaded domes which are located on either side of the ball. When the ball is correctly positioned inside the ring, the two domes sit snugly inside two small cut-out circles at the ring ends. To fit the ball, press the two domes inwards with your fingers. Next, position the ball so that the two domes are ready to ping into the two cut-out circles, and then release your hold on the domes and push the ball into position. The two domes will pop into the circles, which in turn will hold the ball securely in place. To remove the ball, just wiggle and pull it slightly. This steel ball closure ring is available in a choice of internal diameter sizes between 14mm and 19mm.

Yeah, I was looking for something that didn't require a pair of pliars to remove. I thought about a screw in, but then saw this. When I walk around naked I kinda sound like a cat with a little bell, but yeah anyway. You don't need to know that. Build quality is good. Clever. Very impressed. No I'm not adding a video.
A test piece to try a BCR as I usually have a 7mm banana in my PA. I just wanted to try something different. The spring loaded ball comes out easily but requires a bit of patience to refit: 1) press in lower ball & put onto lower part of dimpled surface - it won't fit into the dimple yet. 2) with another fingernail press down the upper spring loaded ball and guide it under the upper face. 3) a quick twist/wiggle and the spring loaded balls locate in the dimples. Lovely piece of jewellery & I love the extra weight;-). 7mm diameter gauge x 16mm ring weighs 23 grams (vs 13 grams for 7 x 22 mm banana in titanium)
