High quality 316L surgical stainless steel ball closure ring (BCR) with a gauge of 9mm. This type of ring is really easy to fit - simply unscrew the ball from one of the ends of the ring. Next, insert the ring through your piercing and then screw the ball back into the hole to finish. This steel ball closure ring (also known as a captive bead ring) is available in a choice of internal diameter sizes between 14mm and 22mm. The diameter of the screw-in ball is 12mm.

I am just moving up from an 8mm PA and it's good to find metal at 9mm size; most body metal firms don't supply this intermediate size but stock 10mm metal. Really nice and heavy, looks good and feels great!
