Very useful for fitting or removing ball closure rings, bar closure rings and segment rings, these pliers have curved tips to help prevent rings from pinging away when opening. Insert the pincer ends through the ring and then squeeze the handles together slowly to apply slight opening pressure. Don't squeeze too hard or you may stretch the ring. With the ring held slightly open put the ball, bar or segment in place and then release your hold on the handles. The same process is applied for removing balls, bars or segments. The pliers will open all thicknesses (gauge) of ring and they are available in three unit sizes:-Small - opens rings from 8mm (internal diameter) up to 22mm maximum. Total size 109mm x 54mm.Medium - opens rings from 10mm (internal diameter) up to 27mm maximum. Total size 154mm x 70mm.Large - opens rings from 10mm (internal diameter) up to 32mm maximum. Total size 182mm x 78mm.
