One metre of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) thread with a gauge of either 1.2mm or 1.6mm. This thread is ideal for making your own piercing retainers, and you can screw either metal or acrylic balls onto it (as long as they have a gauge of 1.6mm). PTFE is suitable for both healed and unhealed piercings.

Really versatile for making your own retainers from navels and ******* to the more intimate types of piercings. Used whilst the wife had an MRI scan in hospital with a couple of acrylic balls screwed on. Easy to cut to size. Handy to keep a length for those 'just in case' moments.
