This steel tapered pin aids the insertion of internally-threaded piercing jewellery. The length of the pin is 50mm and the widest end has a thread which threads into the shaft of internally-threaded jewellery. To insert the pin into your piercing, gently push the thinner end of the pin into your piercing and thread all the way through until your jewellery is in the correct position. This normally takes time - please do not rush. This tapered insertion pin is offered in two sizes: the 1.2mm version has a 0.9mm thread which will accept the thread of a 1.2mm gauge piece of internally-threaded jewellery, whilst the 1.6mm version has a 1.2mm thread which will accept the thread of a 1.6mm gauge piece of internally-threaded jewellery.
